Arkansas River and the Union Avenue Bridge
Taken some time before the 1921 flood, after which the Arkansas was rechanneled. At the left are the power company facilities; on the right is the red stone structure on Union Avenue originally known as the Riverside BUilding and later, for many years, as the Al Kaly Shrine Temple. Since it was vacated by the Shriners some 20 years ago, it has been occupied by various businesses.
